This week we are finally kinda ready for the 24th of July celebrations. Our town has a huge celebration that starts 2 weeks before the 24th even gets here. So, Sean and I and a couple of friends are on our way to get the parade under control. We love doing the parade and love seeing all of the entrants and their floats. Ireland and her cousins also ride in the parade and throw candy at a pace fitting any race car-you know fast and furious. We love having all of the family here and finally this year we have enough room to accommodate everyone. So we will have all of Sean's family come and hang out for the weekend. The part we could do with out is the sirens going off at 6 am in the morning along with the cannons!
But we are looking forward to a fun filled day with lots of food, entertainment, and family. Hopefully, Baby Shea will cooperate with us and be good-no naughtiness! But I think we have too high of expectations on that one for this year! More pictures when we have them.

Augh, the sirens and the cannons! They certainly keep the visitors away for us, when we say, "Sleep over the night before, we guarantee you'll be up by 5:50!"
