Yesterday it rained a little. Then we woke to a winter wonderland. Its amazing that everything can be nice all year and when it snows it seems like a renewed spirit has been added to the earth and it is a more beautiful place. It feels like a renewal of things. I love when it snows.

The kids are adjusting to the new house really well. They are muddling around now and that is nice. It is nice to be at home with them. Life seems to be getting back to normal and I am enjoying the things I used to do again. Its funny that when you are so wrapped up in building a house that the enjoyment of other things can be lost. But we are back. I think we will settle down for our long winter now and just take a break from all of the chaos. Yea-

Baptism

Liam was baptized on November 1-as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-and that was cool!!!
It was pretty calming to watch him be baptized. When Patrick and Ireland were baptized I was nervous. This time it was great. I think that goes with the "Broken in" mom thing I have going on. Thanks again Jeff for these pictures-you should work for JcPenny!!!

Can any of you find Ben. Look at the picture of Sean Shauna and Liam-you will find Benjamin too.

Halloween

This year for Halloween we had lots to do. We moved into our new house thr Friday before Halloween and stayed super busy getting ready for Liams Baptism that was the next day. So for Halloween we had lots of family come and visit for the festivities. We went to the trunk or Treat then we went to the school carnival. It was fun. The kids went to bed very late and by the next morning most of the sugar was out of their system. Thanks Jeff for taking these great pictures!

We finally can move in! I think the kids are
going to be happy about their new rooms and
all of the space they will have. What a great thing we have been blessed with.

This is the house! We should move in by the end of the week or the beginning of next week. I think the kids are telling everyone we dont have one house but two! That wont cause any problems. Hopefully we can get this house rented sooner rather then later. Move in isnt sounding so exciting to me but it has to be done. The kids are so excited to finally be in one place. This building thing is hard.

Bring it on.

We are about a week away from moving in to the new house. Its been a long struggle and a huge learning experience for the both of us. The kids are about ready to move in. I think they are tired of having dad at on house and mom at the other. I will be excited to have one electric bill instead of two. The last few things are being done right now. The vertical siding and the concrete. Then we are ready to move in. Its been a long 6 months.

We are also ready for the cruise planned in about 5 weeks. I think we will sleep through the whole thing. Well except for the fun parts! More later

First blog on our house

Today we have been so busy! We started out with the plumbers. I never thought that figuring out where a toilet should "sit" would be such a conversation but it was. So we finally got it all worked out and moved down to the HVAC guys and kinda inspected what they were doing. We looked like we knew what was going on but we really had no clue. But it looked really good. Nice and shiny vents for the basement and so forth that no one will ever see. Then we watched a few minutes to see how they would tackle our roof line. They seem to know more then us so we are glad they showed up!!! Sean go home from work and we went off to the carpet store and dropped $6000 to get the house done. Home Depot was last on the list and we polished off the night there. Shea~bird didnt appreciate being there AGAIN but she suffered through and came out unharmed. She and Ben fell asleep on the way home and Sean and I had a quiet ride with an additional $700 worth of lights and electrical wiring. Home at last and He has shown me how to blog. So the "going on" at The Rawlinsons can be quickly updated here.

On a side note Baby Shea started walking yesterday and finally I was the only one to see it AND I saw it first. Yea for me. We are in a new phase with her. You know the one that allows her to wear little dresses now and she wont crawl on them and choke herself!!

I will talk some later on each of the kids and the going ons in their life. Until then enjoy your 4th of July weekend!
